Si eres un entusiasta del surf, apreciarás el Cabo Surf Shop en las instalaciones del Hotel Cabo Surf, con su gran flota de alquiler de tablas de epoxy que incluyen: longboards, shortboards, tablas blandas, tablas de bodyboard y tablas de remo. No es necesario volar las tablas y correr el riesgo de daños o mal manejo y cargos aéreos costosos.

Ubicación: Playa Acapulquito, el mejor lugar para aprender surf en toda el área de Los Cabos, ver mapa.
Horario de la escuela: diario de 8am a 6pm. (7pm durante el verano).
Cada clase incluye: renta de tabla, rashguard, instrucciones en la playa y en el agua. Los estudiantes deben llegar 20 minutos antes de la clase, para ver un video instructivo de 10 minutos en el lobby. El video también está disponible para su compra con un descuento durante la clase. Es una gran herramienta para los estudiantes que desean seguir practicando más tarde.

Necesitas: Traje de baño, cámara y bloqueador solar, también tenemos una tienda de surf en las instalaciones. Nuestra tienda de surf Cabo Surf Shop ofrece: renta de tablas Doyle softboard para principiantes y un gran inventario de tablas Surftech de todas las formas y tamaños, tablas boggie, sombrillas de playa y nuestra propia línea de ropa de surf.
Mike Doyle fue un legendario surfista, shaper, artista y todo un hombre del agua. Fue miembro del Salón de la Fama del Surf y del Salón Internacional de la Fama del Surf. También fue miembro del Paseo de la Fama del Surf de Huntington Beach y del Paseo de la Fama de los Surfistas de Hermosa Beach.
Instructor principal de la Escuela Mike Doyle desde 2004.
Campeón Nacional en Short Board representando a Baja California Sur en abril de 2008.
Nacido en Acapulco con una pasión de toda la vida por el surf desde la infancia.
Fotógrafo de surf desde 2007. Me siento muy afortunado de hacer lo que hago, fotografía y surf, mis dos mayores pasiones en la vida.

Buenos amigos, Patrick O'Neill (O'Neill Wetsuits) y la leyenda del surf Mike Doyle compartiendo un momento en el restaurante 7 Seas en Cabo Surf Hotel (julio de 2013).
Mike Doyle, una leyenda en el mundo del surf, dejó una marca indeleble en el deporte. Votado como "Mejor surfista" por la revista Surfer en 1965 y 1966, era conocido como el "Ironman" por su increíble resistencia y habilidad en varias competiciones. Sus victorias incluyeron el prestigioso Duke Kahanamoku Contest en Sunset Beach, Hawaii en 1968 y el título mundial de surf en Perú.
Mike fue un innovador, a quien se le atribuye la invención de la primera tabla de snowboard y la tabla de surf blanda. La popular tabla de surf "Doyle Model", creada por Robert August, es un testimonio de su impacto en el deporte. Mike dividía su tiempo entre San Diego y Cabo San Lucas, viviendo el sueño del surfista y persiguiendo su pasión por pintar escenas oceánicas y la vibrante vida de Baja.
Desde un niño flaco de Inglewood (California) hasta un campeón mundial de surf y una "leyenda", el viaje de Mike fue impulsado por su pasión implacable por el surf. "Soñaba con surfear, comía surf y pensaba en ello todos los días, todo el día, 'poseído sí', y eso es lo que hace un campeón", dijo una vez.
Alentó a todos a mantenerse comprometidos, trabajar duro y trabajar de manera inteligente, enfatizando que el surf es un estilo de vida que debe vivirse plenamente. Su libro, "Morning Glass", profundiza en lo que se necesita para vivir como un campeón, más allá de ganar trofeos.
La filosofía de Mike era construir un estilo de vida compatible con los amores y ambiciones de uno, asegurando un legado duradero. "El mejor surfista en el agua es el que más se divierte", solía decir, recordándonos a todos que abracemos la alegría en nuestras actividades.
Ahora residiendo en espíritu en la punta de Baja, la pasión de Mike por el surf y la pintura continúa, inspirándonos a trabajar duro, amar lo que hacemos y cabalgar las olas de la vida con entusiasmo. "La vida es como una ola, así que ¿por qué no tomar una grande y tener un largo paseo hasta la playa?" diría, dejándonos un mensaje atemporal de perseverancia, pasión y el poder de vivir la vida al máximo.
Mike Parsons es un surfista profesional patrocinado por Billabong. Famoso por montar las enormes olas del banco de Cortez y ganar un premio por ello. Aquí lo vemos en Jaws en Maui, Hawaii.
Pat O'Connell es generalmente considerado el surfista más feliz del mundo. Quita los cheques de espuma, las camisetas de concurso y la fama, y esta estrella de Endless Summer II todavía pasaría la mayor parte de sus horas de vigilia en el agua. Uno de los surfistas profesionales más sociables y populares de la historia, es difícil imaginar que pasó los primeros 12 años de su vida sin ver el océano.
Kelly Slater al ganar el Campeonato Mundial 2010 se convirtió en el 10 - ¡¡¡DIEZ!!! veces campeón mundial de surf. Aquí con Miguel y Enrique.
